Exness Execution — Which Questions About a Fill Can Be Answered — Nigeria
Three questions come back after every surprising fill: why this price, why not faster, and whether it can be re-run. They have different addressees — one is settled by the record, one is answered by description, and one is answered by nobody.
Open Exness Account →A surprising fill produces three questions, and they are not equally answerable. Why this price is a question about the record: the instruction, the moment it was sent and the state it ended in are written down, and the record settles it. Why not faster is a question about how the route is built rather than about one order, so it is answered by description and in general terms. Whether the trade can be re-run has no addressee at all — no party can restore a moment that has passed, and asking it spends the attention the first two questions deserve.
What the table below can settle, and what it cannot
A single order leaves a record: the instruction, the moment it was sent, the price it received and the state it ended in. That record settles the first of the three questions above and only that one — what follows reports what was written down, not what a different moment would have produced. The probe opens and immediately closes positions of increasing size, and writes down what happened.
Execution speed and fill quality vary with market conditions, liquidity and position size.

Across 27 measured round-trips the average fill took 130–151 ms depending on instrument and size, with 0 rejected orders in total. Negative slippage means the fill was better than the quoted price at the moment the order was sent.
Slippage in points, signed: negative = filled better than quoted, positive = worse. ‘Rejects’ counts orders the platform refused at that size.
How this was measured
- Real market orders (buy, then immediate close) placed in an Exness MetaTrader 5 terminal.
- Latency timed in-terminal from order send to broker confirmation.
- Sizes stepped 0.01 → 1.00 lot to expose size-dependent slippage.
- Fills depend on market liquidity, account and conditions, and can differ.
Measured in-terminal on Exness’s own MetaTrader 5 pricing feed and symbol specifications, refreshed on a schedule. All figures are indicative and change with market conditions.
Open Exness Account →What the record settles, and what it leaves open
A single fill leaves a trail: the instruction, the time it was sent, the price it received and the state it ended in. That trail settles what happened. It does not settle what would have happened, because no alternative was recorded — and the distance between those two questions is where most of the frustration after a surprising fill actually lives.
The workable form is a written question that quotes the order and the moment, and asks only about what was recorded. Anything phrased as a comparison with a price that was never traded turns into an opinion, and comes back as one.
The same rule says when to stop. Once the record has been read and it states what it states, there is no further source that could overrule it.
Questions that belong to how the market is built
A second class of question is entirely legitimate and still has no single owner: why a price is not the same at the instruction and at the confirmation, why the distance between the two widens at certain moments, why size changes the answer. These are properties of the way instruments are quoted, not decisions taken about one account, and they are answered by description rather than against a case reference.
Placing a question in this class is useful precisely because it lowers the expectation attached to it. It will be explained, and it will not be reversed.
